This Privacy Policy describes your privacy rights regarding how and when we collect, use, store, share and protect your information across our website, APIs, applications, email notifications and tools regardless of how you use or access them.

When this policy mentions “we,” “us,” or “our,” it refers to the controller of your information under this policy. If you live within or outside Nigeria, the data controller responsible for your information is Igbobi College Old Boys Association with its registered office at, ICOBA House, Igbobi College, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria.

ICOBA built the ICOBA apps (Web and Mobile) as Free membership application for her members. This SERVICE is provided by ICOBA  at no cost and is intended for use as it is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

Despite this, you alone control and are responsible for any and every information provided to us through the use of our services as provided in the Terms of Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Services provided to members of our Association. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at ICOBA unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

For a better experience, while using our Services, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to Full Name, Phone Number, Email Address, Date of Birth, School House, Photograph Year of Graduation, Residential Address. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

The following lists what we use your personal information for. These may be updated from time to time.

iii. To prevent, detect and manage any illegal and fraudulent activity.
iv. To improve our services to you.

The apps (Web and Mobile) use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Push Notification

We want to inform you that whenever you download or use ICOBA apps (Web and Mobile) we request and store your device token to send you push notications on ICOBA events and activities to keep you updated at all times. .

Payments

We want to inform you that whenever you make payments with our app, we do not store your payment card details on our app or database. All payments are done via a third party integration. Please read more about our payment processor privacy policy “Paystack” and Flutterwave
